Mount: Losmandy G-11 with Gemini
Camera: ST-10XME; CFW10 with Astrodon filters

Notes:

Conditions: 50 degrees; calm, very good seeing

Exposures: 28 x 15 min of Ha (total 7 hrs) over 2 nights

FOV = 126 x 85 arc minutes

Also known as Simeis 147, this very large filimentary supernova remnant lies approximately 3000 light years away. Thought to be the result of a supernova that occurred roughly 40,000 years ago.
