Notes:	Exposures: 12 x 10 min (total = 2 hrs) through 3 nm Ha filter FOV = 15.6 x 14.7 arc minutes Located 11,000 light years away, the bubble nebula is the created by radiation from the hot massive hot young central star. The nebula happens to be near a giant molecular cloud which contains the expanding bubble while being excited by the hot central star causing the bubble to glow. Back to Images
