Distance: 12,400 light years
 

Notes:
An open cluster (NGC1893) resides near the center of IC410, an HII emission nebula. Two features to the left of the cluster are composed of dust and gas left over from star formation within the cluster.  Their shape resembles a pair of tadpoles.

Location: Little Blair Valley, Anza Borrego Desert, CA
Telescope: TEC 140 refractor (980mm fl at f/7.2)
Camera: FLI 6303 microline with Astrodon RGB and 3nm narrowband filters
Mount: AP1100 GTO CP3
Exposure time: 10 x 5 min each for RGB; Ha (8 x 15 min), OIII (12 x 15 min) and SII (10 x 15 min)
Exposure time total: 10 hours

FOV = 97 x 65 arc min.  Imaged reduced to 50% of original
